It has been 4 years since character Ah_Roon was created.
The nickname Ah_Roon was created by my elder brother. I liked his nickname idea and used almost 4 years.
Let's celebrate Ah_Roon's 4th Anniversary!
So today, I'm posting the Dev-Blog earlier than the previous Dev-Blog.
From now on March 2020 Dev Blog, the Dev Blog will be posted every 15th of each months.
So first, Hosting. So I was going to use Microsoft Azure, sadly the Security Features was so expensive and decided to use Vultr and DreamHost(including CloudFlare). But there is currently no Vultr DDoS protection in Singapore, so we will try to resolve DDoS issue when available.
We will start from region Singapore first, then we will start to host on other region when there is a possibility of many players in specific region, and we have sufficient funds. Donating will have a possibility for improvements for us, so please consider donating to us for our project!
Second, our development plan was changed. We saw that people still wants Quickplay and Balanced, so our project name was changed to Improved Fortress 2014. Now this project mainly focused on better balance, while not breaking the styles of current weapons(e.g. Custom TF2 Weapons had many balance changes, but we will rebalance the weapons while maintaining the current styles of TF2) and various improvements, and new maps/community maps until Valve Corporation ruined their weapon's balance and gameplay after 2015.
